EPHRAIM EDWARD RESNIK, MD, FACOG, FACS
Dr. Resnik is a founder and the medical director of the Regional Gynecologic Oncology, P.C. He is board certified in this unique subspecialty and is a Fellow of both the American College of OB/GYN's and the American College of Surgeons.
Following his undergraduate education in Lithuania, Dr. Resnik obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. He trained in general Obstetrics and Gynecology at Magee Women's Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. His fellowship in gynecologic oncology was at Yale University in New Haven, CT.
Subsequently, he practiced and taught Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Chicago in Chicago, IL and at the St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO. Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital then recruited Dr. Resnik to develop their extramural program of gynecologic oncology at the affiliated institutions. Most recently, prior to opening Regional Gynecologic Oncology, P.C., he was the Chief of Gynecologic Oncology at Westchester Medical Center and an Associate Professor at the New York Medical College.
