Insurance coverage is a key concern for patients and families, yet the details and descriptions of a patient's policy can be very confusing. Insurance plans vary widely in the depth and range of coverage they provide and the contract coverage can change from year to year. In addition, the specific provisions of an individual's insurance contract may depend on the coverage purchased by his or her employer.
When Dr. Resnik is not contracted with your insurance plan, we will work with you to accept the insurance assignment rates. We encourage patients to use Regional Gynecologic Oncology even if the policy has no out-of-network benefits. Consultations and surgery are often covered even with an out-of-network provider. Fees for services are within the customary range for this area and reflect the level of care you will receive as well as the extensive training and experience of Dr. Resnik in his field. You will receive an itemized computer receipt at the end of each visit. Always bring your insurance card with you to each visit and provide information about changes of insurance, address, or telephone number.
Dr. Resnik accepts Medicare, non-par, assignment.
